Teen Leader Training | May 23rd @ 1:30-4:30
o Grades 7-12
o The Georgia 4-H Teen Leader Program offers 7th-12th graders the opportunity to become leaders in their community. The training teaches them how to deal with tricky situations, lead groups of other students, and how to have confidence while doing so. *This is a certification course, and there is a short assessment at the end.

Rockets Away | May 28th
o Grades 4-8
o This fan-favorite explores aerodynamics and the basics of rocketry, ending with launching bottle rockets! Half day with snack provided.

Sew Much Fun | June 3rd
o Grades 5-12 *limited students*
o Want to learn how to sew? Join us for a day all about sewing! Students will learn how to run a sewing machine, and make their own pillow.

Macon Fun | June 18th
o Grades 4-8
o Let’s take a field trip to the Ocmulgee Mounds & Museum of Arts & Sciences! Full day with transportation & snack provided, bring a sack lunch.

State Council | June 20-24th *Registration Deadline June 4th
o Grades 8-12
o State 4-H Council, a Georgia 4-H core program, is the constitutional meeting of the Georgia 4-H Council and will include the election of Georgia 4-H State Officers. This weekend is also home to the Iron Clover Competition- a series of events that sees 4-H'ers from the four districts competing against each other in giant Jenga, trivia, Gilligan's Island, watermelon eating, Cotton-Eyed Joe-a-thon, and more to bring home the Iron Clover to their district!

Craft Camp | June 24-26th
o Grades 4-8
o Activities will include making wreaths, soap, candles, learning how to paper quill, and more! Each day will run from 9:00am-4:00pm. Students should bring a lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, and we will have a pizza party on Thursday.

Rockets Away Pt. 2 | July 9th
o Grades 6-12
o This day is for older students & will build on Rockets Away basics. Students will be launching powered rockets! Half day with snack provided.

Natural Dyes | July 16th
o Grades 4-12
o Learn which plants around you can produce dye & which colors! We will tie-dye shirts with what we find. Full day with snack provided, bring a sack lunch.

Pancakes & Portfolio | July 19th @ 5 pm - 7 pm
o Grades 7-12
o Are you interested in doing DPA and are entering the 7th--12th grades? Then this event is for you!
Pancakes and Portfolios is a fun night planned to prep for the upcoming DPA cycle, and get you ready for portfolio season! From picking a topic, to deciding where activities go, there's so much to do. We will not be starting on portfolios at this event- rather, we will be eating pancakes, playing communication games, and learning about Junior & Senior DPA.

o Step back through history with a trip to Fernbank in Atlanta! Full day with transportation & snack provided, bring sack lunch.

Outdoor Skills | July 30th
o Grades 4-8
o Learn how to survive outdoors while learning plant ID, knot skills, how to build a campfire, & more! Full day with lunch provided that students will cook on a fire!
